Priceline flights valid for status match and points?
I'm going to do a status match with UA this summer. Wondering 2 things:
1. Do international UA flights booked through Priceline (not name your own price flights) qualify?
2. Will they earn points?
I know domestic flights do, but someone told me that intl may not if they use consolidator's fares. Eg., TUL to KTM. United to DEL, but then Jet to KTM, all on the same itinerary.
Thanks for your help with this!

Was it a name your own price, or did you get to choose the flight and airline?
If it was name your own price, you will not get miles, otherwise you should.

If you name your own price, you typically dont know the airline or flight until its too late and its purchased. You do however usually get a good deal.
How are you so sure you are booking a united flight?

Well technically you shouldn't...read up a bunch of posts and people have been getting credit for random things lately. Their system has been anything but consistent lately.
I would expect to not get miles, and if you do take it as a happy little bonus.

Sometimes if irrops occur, in the rebooking that fact it was non-mileage earning gets lost -- but would not count on it. Just as occasionally award tickets can end up earning miles.

Sorry for the mistake but I meant I have booked the flight. I corrected my error.
